Sabbath Day (Gen 2: 1-3 & Ex.20: 8 – 11) —-Posted by r. a. — Saturday, May 14, 2022
Basically, within the bible, belief and faith have similar meanings. Believing involves supposing, thinking and or accepting something as being true. That is, it’s a mental confidence, attitude or feeling that a Creator-God exists.
Faith, on the other hand, involves the same elements, but it involves taking action based upon your belief. Obedience and doing the will of God, demonstrates your belief and faith in the Creator-God through his son, Messiah.
Thus, belief is the mental accepting, while faith is one’s physical action that illustrates and expresses a person’s mental beliefs.
In short, faith is a DOING of one’s beliefs.
Here’s the biblical proof of the above. James Chpt.2 verses 14, 18, 21, 22
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith (belief) save him?
18 …Show me your faith (belief) without your works, and I will show you my faith (belief) by my works.
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
22 Do you see that faith (belief) was working together with his works, and by works faith (belief) was made perfect?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith (belief) without works is dead also.
Many people say they believe in the Creator-God of the bible and his son, but their actions (works, faith in action) exhibit the opposite of what the will of God and his son are.
Sunday-keeping instead of observing the 7th day Sabbath, which is the 4th command of the great I AM, is just one noisy and blatant example of doing the opposite of the will of God — eternal death awaits these rebels.
Be wise– do the will of the Father and his son — obey the Creator’s commandments, his holy days and judgments and live forever.
All glory, praise and honor to the Creator-God, the great I AM, in Jesus’/Yahshua’s name.
Peace, blessings and protection to all who seek and love the truth — God’s Word (Jn.17: 17 & Psalm 119: 142)
