Sabbath Day (Gen.2: 1- 3 & Ex.20: 8 -11) ——By r. a. ——— Saturday, Oct.09/21
In Messiah’s (Yahshua’s) name: “He who says, ‘I know Him (God),’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” (1 John 2:3–4 & 1 John 5: 2 -3).
Today, the mood and temper of this age is not one of rejoicing. Both the elected and the unelected medical and political tyrants have induced fear, panic and the mistrust of other people, thus creating division.
However, the God-fearing (commandment keepers) still have reason to be joyful, for they know this evil season will end and they will inherit “the fullness of joy forever” in the Kingdom of God when Messiah returns to this earth. (Rev.20: 4 – 6; Rev.2: 26 -27; & 2Tim 4: 1)
The term “joy’ is defined as a feeling of great pleasure and happiness; gladness of heart; rejoice, delight, jubilant, on cloud nine, etc.
Did you ever cry tears of joy and/or sorrow? Over the years, I have on many occasions. Depending upon a particular situation, we humans can cry tears of sorrow or joy.
As one writer expressed it –“Joy is an emotional excitement over blessings received or expected. It is a gift from God that resides in us all.”

Here’s five types of joy as revealed in the bible.
1 — Foolish – Folly (a foolish act, idea or practice) is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding (wisdom) walks uprightly (keeps God’s commandments). (Prov.15: 21)
2 — Motherly – And Mary said, “My soul does magnify the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour.”(Lk.1: 46 – 47)
3 — Everlasting/future –Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy… (Isa.51: 11)
4 — Great –many taken with palsies (paralysis), and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city. (Act 8: 8)
5 — Answered Prayers: Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full. (Jn.16: 24)
If we are following the true Messiah (Yahshua) and obeying the Creator’s commandments, statutes (holy days) and judgments as did Messiah, no matter how difficult the situations are in our lives, we can still have joy in our hearts.
As revealed in Ps 16: 11 — “You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fulness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
Eternal life, everlasting joy and pleasures with the Creator, the great I AM and his son, Yahshua, will be the inheritance of the faithful and obedient. (See Matt 5: 19 -20 & Jn.2: 29)
All glory, praise and honor to the Creator-God, the great I AM, in Messiah’s (Yahshua’s) name.
Peace, blessings and protection to all who seek and love the truth–God’s Word (Jn.17: 17 & Ps.119: 142).
