In Messiah’s name: “And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations shall even go up (to Jerusalem) from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.” (Zech.14: 16)
Here’s the commandment to keep the “Feast of Tabernacles” (Lev.23: 33 – 36, 41)
33 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord.
35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein… 36 on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. (Lev.23: 33 – 36)
41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the Lord seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. (Lev.23: 41)
HERE’S FOUR PURPOSES FOR THE WEEKLY AND ANNUAL FEASTS
1 – To unify the nation (See Deut.12: 5 – 14)
2 – To worship the Creator-God (See Ex.5: 1 & Ex.20: 1 – 20)
3 – To illustrate spiritual truths (See Jn.7: 37 -39)
4 – To foretell the Messiah (See 1 Cor. 11: 23 – 26)
The Messiah (Yahshua) kept these feast days. Here’s the scrip– “In the last day, that great day (the eighth day) of the feast (of Tabernacles) Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” (Jn 7: 37)
If you claim to be a TRUE FOLLOWER of Yahshua, Messiah, you are obligated to keep both the weekly and annual feast Sabbaths of the Creator as outlined in Lev.23.
If you are NOT keeping the Creator’s Laws/feast days, then you are following “another Jesus”(2 Cor.11: 3 – 4). The Serpent has deceived you, or, you are utterly self-deceived! So be it!
These are not Jewish Feast Days — They are the Creator-God’s festivals. (Lev.23: 2)
All glory, praise and honor to the Creator-God, the great I AM, in Yahshua’s name.
Peace, blessings and protection to all who seek and love the truth – God’s Word (Jn.17: 17 & Psalm 119: 142)
