Sabbath Day (Gen.2: 1-3 & Ex.20: 8-11) ——By r. a. ——————Saturday, Dec. 12/20
In Messiah’s Name: “But he (Messiah) answered (Satan) and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” (Matt.4: 4)
The above script that Messiah quoted was from the Old Testament found in Deut.8: 3. Those who believe that Yahshua, the Christ, abolished the Creator’s commandments, holy days and judgments have accepted a satanic lie for the truth.
Here’s the truth:”Do not think that I (Messiah) have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill (to do, perform, carry out, obey) them.” (Matt.5: 17) He also “Magnified” and made them “Honorable” as prophesized in Isa. 42: 21.
The Sunday-keeping, pagan holiday keeping Christians hate and reject God’s commandments, specifically the 4th Commandment.. Woe to them when Messiah returns to set up the Kingdom of God on this earth for a thousand years.(Rev.20: 2 – 6)
Here’s “There Came A Man Running” and the explanation.
“…there came a man running, and kneeled to Messiah, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Messiah (Yahshua) said to him: Why do you call me good? There is none good but one, that is, God.
You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. And he answered and said to him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
Then Messiah (Yahshua) beholding him loved him, and said to him, One thing you lack, go your way, sell whatsoever you have, and give to the poor, and you shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.” (Mark 6: 17-22)
In the above script, there are those who claim that Messiah didn’t mean for the man to sell “ALL” of his possessions and give all the proceeds (money) to the poor.
However, Christ did say “sell whatsoever you have and give to the poor” — he did not say “give it ALL to the poor”.
I believe Messiah was just pointing out to the man that his possessions were his “god”. The man went away “grieved” (distressed and very sad).
The one thing the man lacked was his love for God.
His possessions were his god and as a result, he was violating the very first commandment in Exodus 20: 1 – 3. We are to have no other gods besides the Creator-God (the great I AM). And, it’s for sure that the material/temporal things we have and own can become our god.
Messiah stated in other verses: no man can serve two masters -you cannot love both God and money. You will either hate the one and love the other and vice versa. You cannot serve God and mammon (wealth, material possessions, worldly pursuits, greed). see Matthew 6: 24
The god of this world has hoodwinked the collective. I was once among those duped into chasing temporal, mindless and material things. I was serving Satan.
In this present age both young and old are completely distracted and are, unwittingly, serving Lucifer/Satan. Their Creator-God is not a part of their lifestyles nor is he on their minds.
The deceived mindset of the many are not concerned about their eventual death and eternal destiny.
At some point in one’s life, a prudent person will seek the true Creator-God, who has revealed himself in the Bible. These wise individuals will follow his son, the Messiah, to receive the gift of eternal life, instead of eternal death.
In closing, choose today whom you will serve –the Creator-God thru his son, Yahshua, or the lawless man, his false gods and his worthless traditions.
All glory, praise and honor to the Creator-God, the great I AM, in Messiah’s (Yahshua’s) name.
Peace, blessings and protection to all who seek and love the truth — God’s Word (Jn.17: 17 & Ps 119: 142)
