Sabbath Day (Gen 2: 1 -3 & Ex.20: 8 – 11) By r. a. Saturday, Sept.12, 2020
In Messiah’s name:”for sin is the transgression of the law”. (1Jn. 3: 4) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. (1Jn. 5: 3)
This Sabbath word is in response to those Sunday-keeping Christian pastors/teachers who erroneously claim Messiah changed the Fathers Old Testament laws and gave new commandments in the New Testament.
Question: Why would these Christians pastors/teachers profess such an outlandish and deceitful assertion?
Answer: Sunday-keeping Christian leaders/pastors reject the Creator’s laws, holy days and judgments and, at times, take scrips out of context to support their false teachings. They love their pagan ways.
They refer to the Creator’s laws as being “Jewish” and are part of the religion of “Judaism” which is a blatant and demonic lie! The Jews abide by their Talmud not the Old Testament (Torah)
The great I AM declares his laws as “My Feasts” in Lev.23: 2. They are not Jewish. Read it for yourself.
Note and understand Matt.5: 17. Messiah stated the following: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”
Notice Christ’s purpose was not to “destroy” (eradicate, wipe out, tear down, demolish, render them invalid) but to fulfill (perform, carry out, make good) and “MAGNIFY” (Isa.42: 21) his Father’s laws. And those who claim they follow Christ are to do the same.
Furthermore, Christ performed and fulfilled the prophecies of the prophets as recorded in Isaiah 55: 11.
When Messiah was asked what is the greatest commandment in the law, he quoted Deut.6: 5 & Lev.19: 18.
Here’s the quotes!
“Jesus said unto him, 37 Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself”. (Matt.22: 37 – 39)
Moreover, when Messiah was tempted by Satan, here’s what he stated in Matt4: 4. ” It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” Christ was quoting Deut.8: 3 in the Old Testament.
In conclusion, there is not one text in the New Testament in which Christ changed or rendered the Creator-God’s laws, holy days and judgments as being invalid, abolished or changed.
The Messiah and his Father were one in mind and spirit — they were/are one in agreement as recorded in John 10: 30. That is, Messiah was in harmony with the testimony and the truth of God’s word.
To assert that Yahshua, the Christ, gave new commandments that are not recorded in the O.T. is deception of the first magnitude.
The Christian Sunday-keepers need to repent and begin to observe the Father’s ten commandments, holy days and judgments as Messiah did. Else, like all deceivers and liars, they will face the lake of fire – the second death..(Rev.21: 8)
All glory, praise and honor to the Creator-God, the great I AM, in Messiah’s (Yahshua’s) name.
Peace, blessings and protection to all who seek and love the truth – God’s Word (Jn.17: 17 & Ps.119: 142)
