Sabbath Day (Gen.2: 1 -3 & Ex.20: 8 – 11) By r. a. Saturday, April 18/20
In Messiah’s name: “Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them” (Rev.20: 6)
The resurrection of the dead, for the most part, is not taught by the Christian and Catholic churches. Their so-called “Easter Sunday” is probably the only time you will ever hear a sermon on the resurrection and it’s mainly focused on Messiah’s resurrection.
His resurrection proves that there is a Creator-God who can raise the dead and bestow eternal life to the true followers of his son, Messiah (Yahshua).
The resurrection from the dead is a foundational and elementary part of the gospel and the return of Messiah. He will set up the literal Kingdom of God on this earth and reign for a thousand years with his true followers. (Rev.20: 4 – 7)
The misled and deceived pastors/churches ignore this doctrine because they erroneously believe and teach that one has an immortal soul that floats off to heaven or descends to a fiery hell when one dies. Or, they say upon Messiah’s second coming, he will judge the living and the dead. Those who are his, will live forever, those who are not, will be thrown in the lake of fire.
These Sunday-Pagan festival-keepers will never tell you about the first and second resurrection as recorded in Rev.20: 5 -6 (first resurrection) followed by the second resurrection as recorded in Rev.20: 11 – 14.
I’ve noticed many times when a “Catholic/Christian” family member dies, the obituary will often include the following comment: “Johnny or Jane is now in the loving arms of the Lord Jesus in heaven.” In addition, Pastors and Priests will also say much the same thing when they are officiating and conducting funerals. This teaching is false to it’s satanic core.
Question: What did the Messiah, Paul and John, the revealer, say about the resurrection of the dead?
Let me first begin by quoting what Daniel the Old Testament prophet foretold.
Daniel Chpt.12 verses 1 -2
1… thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book (of life – see Exodus 32 verse 33). 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake (be resurrected), some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.(eternal death)
Hear the Messiah:
“28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves (not in heaven or in a burning hell) shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” (Jn.5: 28 -29)
Hear Paul — “12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?”
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen. 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. (1 Cor.15: 12 – 14)
Lastly, hear the words of the John, the revealer as recorded in the Book of Revelation Chpt.20 : 4 – 6
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Rev.20: 4 – 5)
In conclusion, for those who are alive today it would be wise for them to seek to be in the first resurrection of the dead and thus, they will have no fear of the second death in the lake of fire, which is eternal death. (see Rev.20: 12 – 15)
All glory, praise and honor to the Creator-God, the great I AM, in Messiah’s name.
Peace, blessings and protection to all who seek and love the truth — God’s Word (Jn.17: 17 & Ps.119: 142)
