Sabbath Day: (Gen.2: 1 -3 & Ex.20: 8 – 11) Posted by r. a. Saturday, Mar.28, 2020
In Messiah’s Name: On the death of Lazarus, Messiah stated the following: “Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep”. (Jn.11: 11)
Did you know that death in the Old and New Testament is often called “sleep”. (See Deut.31: 16 ; Jn.11: 11 ; 1 Cor.15: 51)
Did you know that the English term “cemeteries” comes from the Greek word “koimeteria”. It literally means “sleeping places”. (Source: Wikipedia)
The minds of the collective have been infected with the fear of death. For the last several months we have been fed daily/hourly/up-to-the-minute articles and news, from many sources, on the invisible corona virus (covid-19).
It’s round-the-clock bombardment — a massive dissemination of fear by the media, our governments and medical experts. The truth on this so-called pandemic is hidden from the collective. We don’t know it they are truth-tellers, liars and/or deceivers. And, we have no way to discern if what we see and hear is the truth.
A death count is continously being presented to the masses to keep them in fear of their lives. We, the mob, the herd, are at their mercy. When they say jump, we ask how high and we jump and keep our distance! Why? It’s because the collective fears possible death.
Question: Do you fear death? Answer: If a person is not doing the will of the Creator-God and his Son, then that may be a reason for fearing death.
Four Verses: When Death Is Welcomed and Unwelcomed
1 O death, how bitter it is to remember you for a man at peace with his goods, to a man without worries, who prospers in everything, and still has the strength to feed himself. (death is un-welcomed).
2 O death, your sentenced is welcome to a man in want, whose strength is failing, to a man worn out in age, worried about everything, dissatisfied and beyond endurance. (death is welcomed)
3 Fear not the sentence of death, remember them that have been before thee, and that come after; for this is the sentence of the Lord over all flesh.
4 And why art thou against the pleasure of the most High? There is no inquisition in the grave, (that is, its length won’t be held against you) whether thou have lived ten, or an hundred, or a thousand years. (Apocrypha, Ecclesiasticus Chp.41: 1 – 4)
A Mystery Revealed Regarding Death (1 Cor.15: 50 – 57)
For those who are following the true Messiah and obeying the commandments, statutes, judgements of the Creator-God, the great I AM, as did Messiah, they will inherit eternal life.
50 Now this I (Paul) say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (suffer physical death), but we shall all be changed, (upon Messiah’s return)
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we (the living at the time) shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on in-corruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on in-corruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. (that is, the transgression of the Creator’s laws is the reason we experience physical death)
57 But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord, The Messiah (Christ)
In closing: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Ecclesiastes chpt. 12 verse 12)
All glory, praise and honor to the Creator-God, the great I AM, in Messiah’s name.
Peace, blessings and protection to all who seek and love the truth – God’s Word (Jn.17: 17 & Ps.119: 142)
