Sabbath Day (Gen.2: 1 -3 & Ex.20: 8 – 11) By r. a. Saturday, Mar.07, 2020
In Messiah’s name: “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little”. (Isa.28: 10)
PART ONE
How many times have you heard Catholic/mainstream churches mention the thousand year reign of Christ? Not many pastors preach on this biblical fact. If they do, many are misled and teach an erroneous narrative on this subject. Or, they, in ignorance, foolishly claim there is no literal thousand year reign of Messiah.
I’ll begin by defining the terms “reign” and “kingdom”.
To reign: to exercise control, sovereign rule, influence and power
Kingdom: a territory, state or country consisting of citizens who are governed by a King/Queen. It has laws, regulations and policies which are administered by a governing body with the King/Queen as its head.
Most of the parables and teachings of Christ were on the coming “Kingdom of God”, which is the true “gospel/good news”. You are to repent and believe the gospel (good news). (See Mark 1: 14 – 15)
Christ, his apostles, including Paul went everywhere preaching the Kingdom of God. Even after Messiah’s resurrection, he taught his disciples about that Kingdom as revealed in Acts 1: 3.
The coming Kingdom of God is a real government that will be ruling over literal people on this earth. Daniel the prophet — who lived 600 yrs before Messiah –knew there was going to be a literal Kingdom of God on this earth. If you get a chance read Dan.2: 28 – 35 and see for yourself his prophecy.
PART TWO
The Literal Thousand Year Reign of Christ
Intro: Before the return of Messiah and his thousand year reign begins, there will “be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matt24: 21 -22)
Most likely a nuclear world war three will break out. The plans for this war already exists and are being incrementally implemented. Those who survive will set up a one world government and one world religion. These are referred to as the Beast and false prophet.
It’s important to note that the Book of Revelation was NOT written in chronological order, nor did it have chapters and verses. One verse may apply to another in a different chapter, including scripts from the New and Old testaments and these have to be pieced together to understand the whole picture. See Isa.28: 10 for this principle above in opening Messiah’s name.
PART THREE
The following contain scriptures, which are not my interpretation or commentary. Let God’s word, the biblical scripts,, speak for themselves
When Messiah returns, he is coming as “King of kings” to rule the whole earth. (Rev.19: 11 – 16). He will “consume” all the worldly kingdoms as revealed in the following text. .”The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord (God, the great I AM) and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever” (Rev:11: 15).
The kings of the earth and their armies will make war against Christ upon his return. They, along with the beast and false prophet, (these represent the one world government that will be ruling at the time (Rev.20: 4)) will be slain and cast in the lake of fire. (Rev.19: 19 – 21)
The true followers of Christ, that is, the ones who died, in Christ, will be resurrected and those that will be still living upon his return, will be instantly changed into immortal beings.(1 Cor.15: 51 – 54) And, they will meet the returning Messiah in the air as he descends to the earth to set up his Kingdom.(1Thess. 4:17)
“They (the true followers of Christ) will live and reign with Christ a thousand years.(Rev.20: 4) And Messiah will give them power over the nations And he shall rule them (nations) with a rod of iron (Rev.2: 26 -27).
“But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection”.(Rev.20: 5)
Upon the return of Christ, Satan will be bound for a thousand years so that he cannot deceive the nations no more until the thousands years are over. (Rev.20: 2 – 3)
After the thousand year reign of Messiah has expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth (Rev.20: 7 – 8)
Once again, Satan will deceive the nations (people) whose number will be “as the sand of the sea”. These deluded ones will attack the Saints in Jerusalem ( that great city) and fire comes down from the Creator-God, the great I AM, in heaven and devours them.(Rev.20: 8 – 9)
This is all followed by the Great White Throne judgment. This is referred to as the second resurrection. The dead, great and small will be judged, “according to their works out of the “books” (the Bible) and the Book of Life”..(Ex.32: 33 & Rev.3: 5 & Rev.20: 11 – 12 )
“A great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands”.
These (the multitude) are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb”. (Rev.7: 9, 14)
However, “whosoever was not written in the book of life, was cast in the lake of fire. This is the second death. Death and Hell (the grave) were also cast in the lake of fire”. (Rev.20: 14 –15)
PART FOUR
It is after the thousand year reign of Christ and the great white throne judgment that a new earth and heaven is created and there is no more sea.(Rev.21: 1 & 2 Peter3: 10 -12 & Isa.65: 17))
Then comes the end: “when he (Christ) shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet” .
“And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him (God, the Father) that put all things under him, that God may be all in all”. (1Cor.15: 24, 25, .28)
Following these final events, John sees the holy city, NEW Jerusalem, coming down from God, out of heaven (Rev.21: 2)
The Creator-God, himself, will be with them (the saved) and “he shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away”. (Rev.21: 3 – 5)
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, here’s the Creator-God’s offer to all: “He that overcomes (Satan and sin) shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son”.(Rev.21: 7) (See also Isa.56)
Here are those who will inherit the second and eternal death: “The fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death”. (Rev.21: 8).
All glory, praise and honor to the Creator-God, the great I AM, in Messiah’s name.
Peace, blessings and protection to all who seek and love the truth – God’s Word (Jn.17: 17 & Ps.119: 142)
