If the Creator-God is never on your mind, this commentary is not for you. It’s for those who “think God” from time to time and it’s for Christians. And, indirectly, it’s for those who are on a quest and seeking “The Truth“ and “the True living Creator-God”. His word is “The Truth” (John chpt 17 v 17).
Catholics and traditional Christians are taught, by their priests and pastors, that the biblical Creator-God became a finite and mortal man in the person of Jesus, the Messiah (Christ).
If you are a Christian and do NOT accept and believe this teaching, then the church hierarchy regard you as a heretic, subject to be excommunicated (cut off from the privileges and fellowship of the churches); and, you are in danger of destruction in hell-fire.
These ministers of the Gospel also declare that the Messiah was both “fully man” and “fully God” during his time on earth. This illogical and irrational idea is almost like saying that a person can be “fully drunk” and “fully sober” at the same time! Do you think law enforcement agencies would accept this as being a fact and a truth? Hardly!!
Perhaps there are some Christians who are not aware of this man-god teaching. On the other hand, there are many who accept this dogma as a fact without question. Those who, without question, believe the man-god theory are not well-versed in the bible. They rely on the knowledge of the clergy regarding church dogma and teaching.
Unfortunately, those believers in the “fully man” and “fully God” concept are following blind ministers. And, as the Messiah noted, because “the blind are leading the blind, both will fall in the ditch”.
I’m sure you can easily understand what it means to be “fully man” __to be a human being. That is, you know you are finite, made of flesh, blood and bone and you are mortal __you will die one day.
But what does it mean to be “fully God”?
Did you know that the English term “God”, in the bible, is not only applied to the Creator, but it is also a reference to men, angels, Satan, and judges. The Creator is called the “GOD of gods” in the bible.
In other words, the term “God” can be a reference to anyone or any thing. It’s a generic term with wide application.
So, to say that the Messiah was “fully God” is meaningless because it doesn’t specify which “God” is being referenced. If the doctrinal clergy were to say that Christ was “fully The Creator-God”, then it would have meaning. We’d know they were referring to The God who created the universe and all that it holds.
The Messiah, Jesus, was NOT the Creator-God of the universe. Christ was a mortal, flesh, blood, bone and finite human who was put to death.
The Creator-God, on the other hand, is from “everlasting to everlasting” __he is eternal and self-existing. That’s his essence and nature _ he is self-existent and cannot die or be put to death.
There is NOT one place in the bible where the Creator-God claims he is a man, or he will become a man. If he did, it would contradict his own words, he’d be a liar, and it would make void his essence and nature, which is eternal and self-existent. And, the Creator-God says he does not lie.
It’s important to note that the essence and nature of the Creator-God is revealed in his personal and holy name. Remember, the older testament was mainly written in Hebrew, not in English!!
The Hebrew meaning of the Creator’s personal and holy name is: “I WAS, I AM, I SHALL BE”. That is, he always was, and always will be. In other words, he is self-existent and eternal!
In Hebrew, the holy name is expressed as YHWH or YHVH and is usually pronounced as “YAHWEH” (Yah way). No one knows the exact pronunciation because the Hebrew, initially, didn’t have vowels. These were added much later.
Jesus, while on earth, prayed to Yahweh who was in heaven and called him “Father”. In the “Our Father” prayer, Messiah prayed, “May your name (Yahweh) be held holy/ hallowed”.
It was Yahweh (the Creator-God) who raised Jesus from the dead. Christ did not raise himself from the dead. Once again, Yahweh, the Creator-God cannot be put to death for he is eternal and self-existent. Christ was not!
As a final comment, I’d like to pose the following question to the believers of the man-god church theory and to their clergy.
Since you believe and teach that the Creator-God, Yahweh, became a mortal man called Jesus, here’s my question.
How can an eternal, self-existent Creator-God, who is the source of all life and sustains all things, divest, delete and cast off his self-existent nature, essence and power and take on the finite, mortal and transitory nature of his creatures?
If you answer with, “it’s a mystery”; Yahweh-God replies: “For I am Yahweh, I change not” (Malachi chpt.3 v 6) and “God (Yahweh) is not a man that he should lie” (Numbers chpt.23 v 19). Yahweh does not change his ways, form, nor does he lie!
Yahweh-God did not become the man, Jesus. To teach and say otherwise, is to accept and believe a subtle and satanic lie. And, it’s idolatrous and blasphemous __ a violation and transgression of the 1st and 2nd commandment (Exodus chpt. 20 v 1-6)!
Finally, those who love and cling to lies will not receive eternal life, but will suffer the “second death” (Rev.20:14 eternal death) from which there is no resurrection.
If you’re not interested in living for ever and exploring the universe, then dismiss and reject Yahweh’s Truth (his word and promises). Choose and continue to go your own way and “do your own thing”. However, according to Yahweh’s word, sadly it will lead to your eternal death. So be it!
